There are over a dozen restaurants within a few minute’s drive of Dover Watch.  You can find fine dining, outdoor seating (in season), casual dining, and takeout among our nearby restaurants.  There’s plenty of shopping too, from the practical (groceries, beverages) to the picturesque (farms, gifts).  Readers won’t want to miss Bartleby’s Books in Wilmington.

Nearby ski resorts include Mount Snow, Carinthia Parks, and Stratton Mountain. Starting Thanksgiving weekend and running through March, Vermont ski slopes give you a long season of primo skiing and snow boarding to enjoy.

Golfers will be right at home in the Dover area with numerous excellent golf courses in the vicinity.  You can play highly rated courses includuing Mount Snow Golf Course, Stratton Mountain Golf, and Haystack Golf Club.  Or take a drive into Brattleboro and play a round at the Brattleboro Country Club.
